I've been a fan of mythology and folklore since I was a kid. It's had a big impact on a lot of aspects of my life and my creative pursuits. My writing has been influenced by it. My partner and I named our game studio after the "Fearsome Critters of the Lumberwoods". Then, in 2020 I decided to start a project revolving around this lifelong interest. I also opened the project to others and created a month long prompt list called "Folklore February". In 2021 I did it again and enjoyed seeing what others created. The next year I was to busy in my personal life to dedicate the time to it and have not revisited it yet, but I might soon.
